Zillennials is used for people born near the Millennial–Gen Z transition, often around the early-to-mid 1990s, although proposed year ranges vary. From a Gen Alpha lens, Zillennials are usually older cousins, teachers, coworkers, creators, or young parents who remember more offline childhood technology while also understanding modern internet culture. The label is self-descriptive rather than scientific, and someone near the boundary may prefer Millennial, Gen Z, Zillennial, or no generation label at all.
