W-Keying

The W key moves a character forward in many PC games, so W-keying represents nonstop aggression. Gen Alpha uses it especially in battle royale and shooter communities for players who chase eliminations, enter buildings, and refuse to disengage. The style can create exciting clips and pressure opponents, but it may be strategically poor when resources, positioning, teammates, or tournament points matter more than one fight.
The term developed from standard WASD keyboard controls. Competitive shooter and Fortnite communities turned the literal forward key into a verb for an aggressive playstyle, and controller players adopted the same phrase even without a W key.
