Scientology Speedrun
What does Scientology Speedrun mean?
Scientology Speedrun is a 2026 social-media stunt in which someone rushes into a Scientology property and films how far they get before being confronted or removed.
Scientology Speedrun used in a sentence
“The comments called it a Scientology speedrun, but running into a private building for content can still get you arrested.”
This example shows the term in context rather than treating the definition as a literal word-for-word substitution. Slang often depends on tone, audience, and the conversation around it.
How do you use Scientology Speedrun?
Gen Alpha and Gen Z viewers use Scientology speedrun for videos that frame entering a Scientology center like a timed video-game challenge. The phrase can also be used more loosely for any extremely brief or chaotic encounter with Scientology. The joke does not erase real-world rules: entering restricted areas, refusing to leave, damaging property, or harassing staff can be unsafe and illegal.
Where did Scientology Speedrun come from?
The trend spread on TikTok in spring 2026 after creators filmed themselves entering Church of Scientology locations and trying to reach as much of the building as possible before being removed. Speedrun language comes from gaming, where players compete to finish a game or objective quickly. Viral imitation escalated the trend and drew security, trespassing, and harassment concerns.
