Chudjak
What does Chudjak mean?
Chudjak is a Wojak-style meme caricature used to mock far-right, chronically online imageboard users, drawn as an angry, unkempt man.
Chudjak used in a sentence
“The forum argument ended when someone replied with a Chudjak and left the thread.”
This example shows the term in context rather than treating the definition as a literal word-for-word substitution. Slang often depends on tone, audience, and the conversation around it.
How do you use Chudjak?
Chudjak is usually posted to portray an opponent as a bigoted, angry, incel-like stereotype. It is a deliberately ugly caricature from edgy imageboard culture, and Know Your Meme reports the underlying drawing was modeled on a photo of the perpetrator of a 2019 mass shooting, which makes the image especially offensive to many people. It is a mocking insult image, not a neutral character.
Where did Chudjak come from?
Know Your Meme reports that the underlying '/pol/ face' drawing appeared on 4chan in December 2019 and that the Wojak-style version, first called Poljak and later Chudjak, emerged on a left-wing imageboard around August 2020. The name combines 'chud,' an insult for a dislikable or far-right person, with the '-jak' ending of the Wojak family.
