Beez
What does Beez mean?
Beez is in the viral 'Beez in the Trap' context, a stylized form meaning roughly 'I am always' or 'I stay'; in older slang, beez can also be a shortened form of beezy and may be insulting.
Beez used in a sentence
“The 2025 mashup brought the line 'beez in the trap' back into Gen Alpha lip-sync videos.”
This example shows the term in context rather than treating the definition as a literal word-for-word substitution. Slang often depends on tone, audience, and the conversation around it.
How do you use Beez?
Gen Alpha most often encounters beez through Nicki Minaj's Beez in the Trap and the song's later mashup trends. In that phrase, it communicates being constantly in the place where one works or hustles. Separate older uses shorten beezy, sometimes as a derogatory label for a woman, so the term should be interpreted from the lyric or conversation around it.
Where did Beez come from?
Nicki Minaj explained the 2012 lyric as a slang way of saying she is always in the trap, with trap meaning wherever she makes money. A 2025 TikTok mashup with 4 Non Blondes' What's Up renewed the line for younger audiences. Other uses of beez and beezy existed before the song.
